… how should i treat these words of the bestest girl in the world? as a proof of her love of the proof of her feeling insecure or a proof of fear deep down inside her soul? i don't find it terrible how much we love each other. but anyway, what happend these days: friday night i went to concert of some Norvegian acid-jazz(?) band with long and meaningless name in Paradiso, Amsterdam. Besides these live guys there were some nice DJ's playing some nice platjes. saturday night we went to some club in Emmen, to goa/psytrance party with Annemiek and Karin. There were two or may be even more girls i remember after the "Fish in Space" party (see my note from April 17th). Looks like this music has its die-hard fans who follow the same list of parties as I used :) or is it my secret power being wasted while i don't need it?

it was the most exciting burocratic experience in my (quite short) life: yesterday after noon Anne get the list of documents i need to get British visa, i filled the form asking for 4 days buisness trip and tommorow spent 30 minutes in British Mission and Fl. 125 which resulted in the multiple entries visa valid till 19 October 2001. wonderfull.

After that I went to nearest Pizzeria and asked for Large Applejuice and Pizza vegetariana. Large happend to equal 1 liter of Applejuice that tasted like "Goudappeltje".

I took a stoptrein A'dam-R'dam that was a mistake, because it is soooo slow, and it broke in the middle of its way, although they replaced locomotive quite operatively.

Finally i saw "Are you sure?" perfomance by Marta and heard my voice speaking with tremendous echo :) After we went to cafe - Marta, Irena, Monica, Matias, Monica's brother, Mark and Me… hmm… so Many M-words :)

so.

friday evening went to the trance-party near A'dam. besides trans found there ambient and jimi hendrix on video :)

saturday - slept. saturnight went to "save the last dance" with Irena.

sunday - went to "enemy at the gates" with Miekje.

monday - went to some Indonesia oriented event in Ahoy, bought me another ring and some food, which we had consumed with Miekje during Monday evening/Tuesday morning.

Since Friday till today's morning listend only electronica (well, hendrix isn't electronica, but it was trance party, right?), but today started with Buddy Guy. He's great as usually.

found nice hyperfiction - <a href="http://users.rcn.com/rick.interport/lies/lies.html">lies</a>. Miekje should read - lies is one of the most often discussed between us topics <b>:-)</b>

i still enjoy my new window manager!!!!

so, yesterday i went to the library, gave them back CDs, dinnered alone some vegetarian stuff with potatoes and read some Will Self's “Quantity Theory of Insanity”.

Today I've bought tickets to <a href="http://www.lowlands.nl/">Lowlands</a> for me and Miekje and CD of <a href="http://redsnapperonline.net/">Red Snapper</a> "Our Aim Is To Satisfy". My new ICQ-mate introduced to me Goa/Psytrance music which i listen at the moment. and find it nice (especially if it is being played loud).

heh, finally my real geek nature is gonna show up in a diary. i've installed new window manager which i'm currently trying to set up. it is XFCE, screenshots are about to appear. my previous WM - simple and nonconfigurable - was good but conflicted with some new software (e.g. gimp). i tried ratpoison, it is wonderfull but hardly usable. xfce is a bit windowsish, but real geeks don't care - only newbies want to be absolutelly different. and it is more KDEish then windowsish anyway

to much caffeine probably

and i made a CD with Redmond Linux, may i'll try it once on some computer - it's funny to see GNU/Linux, distributed by guy from "four blocks south from Microsoft".

yesterevening i had a dinner with Carlo and as usually after meeting him felt very much enlightened. And still do, even if had some problems at night: our guest, another dancer from portugal "disappeared", Marta was worrying all night, he came home after midnight when we already started to sleep… But everything is OK with him and us after all. So now I again feel this Carlo's influence - my mind is light and free and i'm enthusiastic. oh, yeah, and i learned new phrases in Welsh: "<i>bore da</i>", "<i>os gwelwch yn dda</i>", "<i>beth yw'n enw chi</i>", "Artem <i>ydw i</i>" (this one i've constructed myself from the Russian name and couple of Welsh words), "<i>rydw i'n siarad Cymraeg typun bach</i>" (not sure bout spelling of <i>typun</i> though). nice language, ah?

yesternight had a dinner with Alex in Cafe Plein, then went to her place where meet George. 'twas funny surprise for him, i guess, i don't feel bad about him anymore, not because she forgave him, but becuase time have changed me. Alex still smels like half a year ago and i though "hmm… now i have the Netherlands Past. wow!" we watched "ordinary suspects" on dvd, funny movie, especially if think of it in terms of Alison Lee's book: you really don't know what of what you see is "real" :) and it doesn't matter <i>really</i> :)

Miekje's gonna visit me in R'dam next Sunday! Hurray!!! i'm gonna lay my carpet… dunno when, may be next august. and 11th of August i'm going to Germany with Miekje's family. perhaps. that'd be nice. i like to plan. but not too much. overplanning is dangerous: you can lose the feeling of freshnes. but a little bit is ok. to discuss what places we're gonna visit in Moscow, in Smolensk, in Holland, in Europe…
